Principals: Regina Opera auditions, which are held as needed throughout the season, are by invitation only. Send us your résumé and photo, and we’ll contact you if a suitable role is available. There is no audition fee. We provide the accompanist, although you may of course bring your own if you prefer. If you are chosen for a role, you MUST be available for rehearsals Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons, as well as for all performance dates.

Unfortunately, we are not in a position to pay our singers. But we provide valuable experience in standard repertoire and exposure to a wide audience (average 300 attendees per performance — each soloist gets two performances per production) in fully-staged productions with a 35- to 40-piece orchestra.

Chorus: E-mail us at to audition for our chorus. We are especially in need of tenors and basses. Choristers must be able to read music and be available to attend rehearsals on Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons, as well as extra rehearsals as needed.
